Participant roles (tabletop seats)

What participant roles are

Named seats participants choose when joining an exercise — for example, Incident Commander, Legal, or IT / Security. Each role can have a name, description, and color.

Default roles (created at signup)

  • Incident Commander
  • Communications
  • IT / Security
  • Legal
  • Operations

Managing roles

  • Active tab: Create, edit, archive roles
  • Archive tab: Restore archived roles, or permanently delete (shows impact on saved reports)

Custom role limits: Starter 8 · Plus 15 · Pro 30

How roles connect to the product
