What is Breachday?
Breachday is a SaaS platform for running business continuity (BCP) and incident response (IR) tabletop exercises. It supports scenario structures aligned with NIST SP 800-84, ISO 22301, ISO/IEC 27035, and NIST SP 800-61.
Sign up
- Go to https://app.breachday.io/signup
- Enter your name and email
- Accept Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- Verify your email (check inbox)
- Set your password and organization details
- Optionally start in a demo organization pre-filled with sample data to explore first
- Set up two-factor authentication (2FA) — required before using the app
- Choose a billing plan on the billing page (if you picked a plan on breachday.io, it carries over)
Your organization is created with five default participant roles (tabletop seats): Incident Commander, Communications, IT / Security, Legal, and Operations.
Accepting an invite
If invited by an org admin:
- Open the invite link from email → https://app.breachday.io/accept-invite
- Create an account (new users) or log in with the invited email (existing users)
- Complete 2FA setup if not already done
- You join the organization at the user role assigned (Admin, Facilitator, or Observer)
Invites expire after 7 days.
